The Hyphen BioMed HIA (HIT) ELISA kits are standardized and optimized enzyme immuno-assay designed for measuring global heparin-dependent antibodies of the IgG or IgM, IgA isotype, or all three in human plasma or serum, or in any biological fluid where these antibodies must be measured.

The Enzyme Immuno Assays proposed are fully optimized, easy to perform, and provide reliable measurements with high reproducibility.

This optimized assay is designed with a protein-heparin complex, immobilized, stabilized and saturated, which allows total accessibility of heparin for the reaction. This reliable method then provides high reproducibility, high sensitivity and high specificity, by identifying all heparin-dependent antibodies, and by miming the binding mechanism of antibodies in vivo, on heparin present at the cell surface, especially on platelets or endothelial cells.
